Kangaroo Attacks Human Video

Kangaroos aren't naturally aggressive. However, if they feel threatened or are cornered, they will attack by kicking and clawing their adversary.

The male red kangaroo, the largest kangaroo, is the most aggressive. It can grow to 2 meters in height and weigh as much as 90kgs. It has a muscular physique with large, powerful hind legs and feet and a large solid tail. Being large and powerful animals, their kicks and clawing can be dangerous to humans. Males also engage in ritualised fighting, known as boxing.

A 77-year-old man was recently killed by a kangaroo he was keeping as a pet. Before this, the only known kangaroo attack resulting in a fatality was in 1936.
